Claire & Andy wanted a wedding weekend that felt intimate and peaceful – a respite from their everyday lives. A Rimrock Ranch wedding was the answer to their needs! They were able to host their closest family & friends for the weekend in the ranch’s many cabins, and then welcome even more guests for a Saturday ceremony & reception.
Can you believe this view? Rimrock Ranch, in Pioneertown, CA is only about two hours outside of Los Angeles, but it truly feels like you are worlds away! Claire & Andy decided to keep their ceremony decor to a minimum as to not to take away from the lovely vista.
Friends of the bride pitched in to create her bouquet and the table centerpieces as well. Claire is a sculptor and made her unique table numbers, as well as much of the hanging decor and the colorful table runner garland. Pro tip for desert weddings: Keep your centerpieces long, low, and lush. The desert is windy, and tall centerpieces will get knocked over. Or your wedding planner will take the flowers out of their vases and lay them on your table, garland-style.
Love this photo of Andy & Claire! The desert makes such a gorgeous backdrop for wedding portraits, you really can’t replicate this landscape anywhere else. It is so unique and so spectacular! A Rimrock Ranch wedding is truly a wedding like no other.
