When I asked Light & Frank to describe their ideal wedding, they said. “We want it to feel like home. Like a wonderful party with our kids, our families, and our closest friends…at which we happen to get married. Oh, and we actually want to have it at our home!” So, we did all those things.

The vision for this at-home wedding was Glamorous Garden Party. We chose a palette of blush, lavender, and mint.

The Glam was reflected the in the fashion – Shareen Bridal for the ladies and The Black Tux for the gents.

Light & Frank, both writers, crafted their amazing and unique ceremony with guidance from JP Reynolds, their officiant. Some highlights included a fake prenup signing, Light surprising Frank with a name change (her last name to his!) and a very heartfelt commitment ceremony with all of their children.

At the very end of the very personal, emotional, and heartfelt ceremony, Frank carried Light over the threshold to their home, and invited all their guests to follow them into the back for the party!

Once guests made their way through the house, they were greeted with the lovely sounds of The Replicas Band and an absolutely delicious family style dinner from Jennie Cooks Catering.

The Tropical Coconut Cake was a big hit with the guests, as well as the full dessert buffet – both from Susie Cakes Bakery.
Light & Frank’s truly epic wedding day ended with most of the guests jumping in the pool! No photos, which is probably for the best. 🙂 They tried to throw me in too – but I was working! Someone had to stay dry!
Light & Frank – You two are amazing! The family you have built together is so beautiful, I was so blessed to be in your circle of love for a few months. Your wedding day was so magical – and practically imperfect – just like you wanted. We wish you all the best, always, for a life full of love, peace, community, and laughter!
