The weekend after Thanksgiving was host to Gillian & Jason’s Carondelet House wedding in Los Angeles.
Gillian & Jason fell in love with Carondelet House upon their first visit. However, they found all their preferred dates were already booked. Then, as fate would have it, a cancellation opened up a single Saturday on the venues calendar – Thanksgiving weekend. Taking advantage of family already coming into town for the holiday, they booked right away! A Carondelet House wedding was meant to be for this lovely pair!
So gorgeous! Gillian’s amazing bouquet is by Heather at Twig & Twine. Such a perfect fall bouquet, I think.
After a heartfelt first look, it was ceremony time! I adore this photo of Gillian, snapped at the moment she saw all of her guests for the first time. Nice work, Annie Bang Photography!

From the very beginning, it was clear that Gillian & Jason viewed their wedding as a team effort. Jason was the mastermind behind their tablescapes. I think he did a wonderful job! Their tablescape was romantic and inspired by the fall weather.
Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner by Très LA Catering, and many hilarious and heartfelt toasts by family & friends.
After dinner, there was cake cutting…
And delicious desserts…
and then DJ Lee opened up the dance floor!
Before we knew it, this was happening…
And then THIS HAPPENED. I love Gillian’s reaction in the background. Jason’s got skillz!
In the midst of all the dancing, we made sure the marriage license was signed and legal. Very important, obviously. And it allowed for this spectacular photo of the moment.
Like all great wedding days, soon we were at the last dance.
