From the very first moment I set foot in the door, I’ve wanted to plan an Ebell Long Beach wedding.
However, as soon as you step through the doorway, it takes your breath away! Have you ever seen such impressive architecture in a wedding venue?
On a lovely clear day in January, we had the great fortune to support this handsome groom:
and this radiant bride:
down the aisle, where this happened:
Pre-ceremony, Marissa & Jordan decided against a First Look, so they spent the morning with their wedding party, getting pretty and looking good.
When Marissa & Jordan first came to me, they said they wanted a wedding where everyone danced, all night long! To that end, they had not one, not two, but THREE different musical entertainers at their wedding. And sure enough, they tore it up on the dance floor!
When one of your best friends and bridesmaids is a series regular on Nashville, you let them sing! Jessy and Sarah and the Sparrows surprised Marissa & Jordan with a special song.
In between all the dancing and singing, guests were treated to a wonderful dinner by the always excellent Tres LA Catering. Are you ready for some food porn? Yeah, that’s what I thought.
Of course, no wedding would be complete without the details. Jasmine from Let’s Frolic Together caught all the fine points, from the invitation suite by Minted:
to the flowers by Flower Duet, waiting for their turn to walk down the aisle:
Getting a shot of the bridal shoes is a total must, especially when they are Jimmy Choos!
I love this macro shot of the wedding rings. So cool!
Escort cards by Minted were accented by the bride with some gold washi tape. So clever!
Flower Duet killed it with the lush and elegant centerpieces. I love how the bold color plays off of the satin blush table linens.
And this cake. So good! And even more gorgeous displayed on an antique bar cart belonging to the Bride & Groom.
And speaking of details, Ebell Long Beach has some of the most charming, artful, and quirky details built in throughout out the space. Here are my faves:
I dare you to attend a wedding here and NOT post this Banksy-inspired wall art to your Instagram account.
Did inspiration strike? Thinking of polishing off your screenplay real quick? Well, Ebell has you covered, with this gem hanging on the wall!
And how can we overlook these heroes? These chandeliers are EVERYTHING. I want a few for my house. For real.
Marissa & Jordan are so creative and funny. Like, professionally funny. Their solution to having a videographer?
This hat with a GoPro attached to it.
Thet hat was passed around all night and worn by multiple guests and family members. Even Marisa & Jordan took it for a spin!
We took a quick break from dancing to cut the gorgeous and delicious cake by Nicole Bakes Cakes.
Music was such a huge part of this day, and just like they wished, the dance floor was full all night long! And at the very end, after everyone had danced all the dances, Marissa & Jordan’s nearest and dearest ended the night with a sway circle. Always the best.
Like all amazing weddings, this one was over in the blink of an eye!
Marisa & Jordan, you are so hilarious, and joyous, and so in love with each other – everyone in your orbit can feel it! Thank you for being amazing, creative, generous and the most fun! I am so glad we were able to support you on your big day. Best wishes and much love to you both!

OMG this looks like such a fun wedding!! That food looks TO DIE FOR and what an amazing, super cool and sentimental musical performance!! I love that they had 3 musical performers! Also, that washi tape on the escort card idea is genius and I’m actually a little bitter I didn’t think of it myself!
What a gorgeous venue! Love all the details from this beautiful wedding!
This wedding looks like it was an absolute blast! Those chandeliers are totally gorgeous, and did I see mac and cheese?!? I seriously wish I was a guest!
I’ve actually never been here in person yet but I’m loving the images so far! It looks like you have a modern wedding in there but also a very eclectic one as well. Also, I’m a big fan of Banksy 🙂
This wedding is absolutely beautiful. I can see why you dreamed of planning a wedding here, that venue is a dream come true!
