A Leap Day Wedding with Polished Orange Accents at Ebell of Los Angeles

February 29, 2020.

This amazing day was our very last wedding before The Pandemic closed down the wedding industry for more than two years. I wanted to write this post then, or really at any point in the last three years, but I didn’t have the words.

Honestly, Im not sure I have the words now, but here I go, regardless.

If you want to read Dian & Kenny’s words, head over to Martha Stewart Weddings and check out their feature, which was originally published in September 2020.

Dian & Kenny are two wonderful humans who designed a day that was as chic and lovely as they are.

The Ebell was the perfect choice of venue for them, as they adored its effortless elegance. (That’s also one of the many reasons we love The Ebell, too!) Working with a top-notch team of pros, this wedding continues to be one of our faves.

One of the most notable aspects of Dian & Kenny’s day was their music selections! They don’t often get mentioned in publications, but I wanted to share them here to inspire others to make unique choices,

too, hopefully!

For the ceremony, loved ones entered to an instrumental version of “All My Life” by Attila Fias. The flower girls and ring bearers entered to “Imagine,” a perfect choice!

Dian & her parents walked down the aisle to “For You” by Tracey Chapman. (An absolutely flawless choice!)

Their ceremony, officiated expertly by friend and journalist (you may recognize him from “Extra”), Melvin Robert III, was heartfelt and emotional. Tabitha, from Winston & Main, brought the outside inside with their unique greenery focal point.

For their recessional song, Dian & Kenny chose “Summertime Magic” by Childish Gambino, a lovely chill vibe for their exit into cocktail hour.
