Admit it. You have Royal Wedding Fever. It’s ok. We all have it!
Even us jaded Angelinos (who run into our fave celebs at Whole Foods on the daily) are watching Meghan’s every stylish move with bated breath. And can you blame us? Meghan is our hometown girl! And honestly? We’ve all been in love with Harry for years. Consider Royal Wedding Watch in full effect.
In anticipation of Saturday’s historic event, a talented creative team and I produced an inspiration shoot back in February – and now we get to share all this beauty with you all!
The Details
This watercolor crest invite by Roseville Designs is exactly what we wanted for this shoot – a little formality and a little whimsy!
Fun fact: These are my actual wedding shoes. Yup. So glad they got a life beyond the one day of my wedding!
This bouquet is one of my favorites of all time! So epic, so much texture, so much volume! And yet, so artful!
Charles Corgchester III
As a Wedding Planner and Designer, I always want to infuse each wedding with the unique personality of the couple of honor. And sometimes that means including their fur babies, which is always a highlight for me. Check out this supermodel right here:
This is technically an outtake, but I do not care. It’s TOO CUTE!!
The Tablescape
This tablescape was a dream come true for me. I wanted to mix the elegant and formal standard of the royals with the more casually elegant California vibe that we know so well here. I think we nailed it!
The Lounge
When you get married in Los Angeles, you take full advantage of our spectacular weather. You always offer an outdoor lounge, if you can. The lush vibrant tones of this lounge are my absolute favorite!
The Portraits
We really wanted to not only find models that looked like Meghan & Harry, but we wanted a real-life couple too. Well, we got super lucky with Amber & Richard! Not only pro models, but a married couple! They are the best!
LOOK AT THIS VEIL!! Julie Harris Designs is a dream come true. This veil and tiara combo is stunning!
The Ceremony
Can we all just take a moment for this absolutely stunning asymmetrical ceremony arch? All bow down to Upton Grey Floral. She is magic.
The Cake
This cake is truly spectacular. Mwokaji Cakery knocked this one right out of the park! I would not ever want to cut this cake, fit for a king & queen!
These are just some of my favorite shots from a truly epic inspiration shoot. You can see much more over on Southern California Bride – click below to go right to our feature!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE from top to bottom!! I love the use of purple as a nod to the Pantone color of the year, I love the visit from the queens corgi, I love the gilded, royal detail mixed with the whimsical nature of California. Also, I must admit being SUPER jealous you guys get to do outdoor lounges. There is usually a 30% chance on the East Coast I can actually incorporate them into my designs : ( and HOLY MOLY that cake. Fit for a prince and princess!!
Thank you so much, Rachel! I take for granted our ease at planning outdoor lounges – it’s a huge perk to living in Los Angeles! Thank you for all of your kind words, xoxo!
I am still in a the royal wedding swoon! It was just stunning and so it this photoshoot! Gorgeous. Love this gown!!
Thank you so much! That Watters gown was even more stunning in person. I am also still in Royal Wedding mode! lol
I love how intentional each and every detail of this shoot was! It feels extremely regal, but at the same time relaxed and fun! Also, I have to say that the color palette that you used is WAY more exciting than the standard white and green that they went with…I would be thrilled if one of my clients used this as inspiration!
Thanks, Lindsay! So many intentional details in this day, for sure.
I love love love every single detail about this. The velvet is my favorite and the purple is absolutely stunning. This inspiration is so exquisite from the invitations to the gorgeous table display.
Thank you so much! I love velvet too, and try to use it whenever I can!
This feature is absolutely GORGEOUS, Renee! You nailed it!
