Art + Science Crafted @ the Port of LA Wedding | Sara & Steve

A year ago today, Sara, a filmmaker, & Steve, a scientist, celebrated their Art + Science wedding at Crafted at the Port of LA! There were so many amazing details of this day, it would be impossible to talk about them all. Here are some highlights!

From the beginning of wedding planning, Sara & Steve wanted their wedding to feel very interactive. They wanted their guests to feel included in every aspect of the wedding – not just spectators, but participants. We designed the entire day with that goal in mind!

When guests arrived at the San Pedro venue, they were greeted by Sara & Steve, inside the Hug Deli. What’s a Hug Deli, you ask?

After the Hug Deli, guests were asked to help decorate the floral installation for the ceremony!

Once the guests completed the backdrop, the ceremony was ready to begin!

But, before the ceremony could REALLY begin, Sara & Steve’s wedding party began “The Procession of the Jelly Fish”.

Now the ceremony could begin!

But first, Sara & Steve shared a short film intro they made, complete with an audience sing-along!

I love this photo of Sara peeking out at her guests while they watch the short film she made for them. I think she’s thinking. “Are they singing along yet?”

Sara & Steve took a quick ride around the huge warehouse space to greet all of their guests. So cool.

Outside, guests were loving the vintage VW Bus photo booth from The Booth & Bus Co.
